Mapparan

For the priests of Mapparan dreams are reality. For what's seemed like ages, the priests have lived in a state of confusion, of pure memory loss. Visitors to Mapparan will find priests wandering as if searching for tangible memories, a clue to why they feel so lost. Their only mental anchor is the Castle Mappar, the one location they seem able to consistently recognize. The statues of the entities near the castle are unfamiliar to them, a constant reminder of their amnesia. They live with the deep desire to say something, the word forever stuck on the tip of their tongue. Like hostages in a cage, this living dream has confined them to the holy grounds of a time gone by, a mental and physical jail of imaginary churches and courtyards. Visitors are recognized, but only remembered momentarily as the spell holds the priest's memory captive. Present day moments become lost gifts, forever unopened and forgotten. Some dreams weren't meant to end.
