Since it's first introduction, which was heavily criticized, Fame Points has since become an irrelevant misnomer, relegated to quest requirement speed-bump duty. I propose we give ideas for TT to revamp this stat, and perhaps to make it useful is some way. Here's an example from way back...

If you click the link and see the original post, you'll notice I was also discussing the possibility of negative fame. What I had in mind was fluid fame point, where actions in game determine the positive or negative outcome for this stat, and then the fame point itself has a rewarding role for the sufficiently famous, and some sort of penalty role for the "infamous".

What other example can you think off?

It's interesting, yes. And to be fair, make this after a certain threshold where fame wouldn't be vital for quest advancement, say after 200 fame points.

On the upside, there must be that "reward" for acquiring higher fame in game. 250, 500, 1000, etc.

Some equip items can only be put on when you meet some fame points.
