THE HITS ARE LAUGHABLE. MY HITS BETWEEN 200 AND 500 IN 96%. I SAW A WARRIOR'S HIT... THE SIZE OF THAT WAS DEPRESSING HUGE. IT WAS 6000 WHIT 4000 CRITICAL/ROUND..... WHAT'S THAT????

Compare heals, compare flexibility (especially ability to hit over distance), and you won't feel so inferior. I may say also that while my own hits aren't necessarily wonderful, my ability to bless warriors contributes a great deal to their ability to get the big hits.

Ok. I see but nobody wants to kick the bigger enemy's *** during 50-60 rounds... In a harder arena you can't win becuse there won't be a warrior... Some of my Sage friends can't accomplish an arena mission. So If you are just a healer you can't win alone or in a better way you will win through 50-60 rounds. ccccccccccccc
So the second banana function is suck.

Sages aren't weak.

In some battles that you can solo, maybe you have to take longer time than warriors. But, In a big battle, warriors always need your help for sure. . I swear you will know where you are standing on the battle field. Just find your way to make you stronger with the skills you have.

But i argree with you, Warrior have perfect skill line, more than rogue and sage. (More than me ).

Goodluck.

Try playing warrior before you think they have it easy.
1)only weak distance skills
2)no self purge (try being a warrior with damage debuff on)
3)to use big defensive skill effectively requires 3 turns of preparation
4) battle cry is great--for everybody, not just for the warrior herself
5) the one skill that creates the big hits (when mob has been debuffed and warrior buffed by team members) comes only at lvl 25

I love being a warrior, it's my favorite class. But sages and rogues who haven't tried it should NOT assume playing warrior is easy, and it would be nice, oh devs, if once in a while something was done for warriors.

If damage is the only factor you consider to judge the worthiness of a class, perhaps sage isn't the best of choice for you. Each class has a its own role to play in the team, and its own way to play when going solo.

I won't deny that it's easier to grind as a warrior. There's a reason why most of the capped players are warriors: higher damage = faster grinding. However, there's beauty in both rogue's and sage's game play. They require a lil bit more patience and tactic to pull a win, less mindless exchange of blows with foes, if you will.

Sage and Rogue received some bumps increases recently. It's a good sign we're being listened too (again ). Thanks devs. But, I must say don't expect all classes to be equal in term of damage output. Otherwise, what's the point of having different classes ?

Fixing a bug is hardly "improving" warrior opportunities, and if the mobs flit around freely, a distance skill is handy. My point was just that sages have advantages that warrs don't have, just as warriors have advantages sages don't have. No point in arguing about it, but I think 3 turns for defensive skill: one for the "hold the line" itself, one to eliminate daze, one for berserk to restore damage. If you don't care about restoring damage, yes, two turns is enough.
Do you WANT people to go on thinking idiots can be successful as warriors?

The damage isn't the only factor for me... but after full tuning: celestialfire+faded fever+rejuvenate plus tremor than moon ritual my hit is only between 200-300 ... so what you think? It was so so weak...

But now I go to test the fixed sage
It looks cool.

Do not get me wrong, I love the fact that our spells got an upgrade (now if only I could get that Parasite back. His brothers cry for him every night).

I have complained about spells that work for the enemy but not for us (Daze for instance), however for those who think Sages were weak before the fix let me say this.

I solo-ed all the Djinn, including L25s (except one L25, the L20 in the Vault, and the L30 Fire Djinn), with and without my Zineth Archer more than once. I have fought Bloodeye solo 4 times and won 2 time. I have solo-ed a lot of bosses (some of which came with mobs), won some and lost some.

3 Sages alone beat Alpha Dogs (fully spawned)

Some of these I did before I hit the cap and some after. By no means am I bragging. I am telling this because it was done before the current patch boosting our spells.

Yes I spent gems to upgrade my spells and I have 12 slots, however if I can do these things alone, a Sage with the maximum upgrades and slots without the use of gems should have a fighting chance if they know how to use their spells.

Case in point about knowing your spells, I totally underestimated the Teleport spell. Now I don't leave home without it.

This latest patch upgrading some of the sage's skills is very welcome. More and more, I have noticed how the damage caused by the upgraded version of Dark Ritual was nerfed. My damage using it seemed to be 50% lower, than it had been. As it is one of my favorite go-to skills, and one of the first that I make sure to upgrade all the way--I will be looking forward to seeing how it performs now.

As for the warrior, I would like to see a return of some of her defense--which was drastically lowered in a previous patch. And the twin penalties of being dazed and having your damage reduced, from using Hold The Line, seems to be excessive. For this reason, I only use it in the very hardest of group fights, and don't usually carry it in my skill bar.

Thanks for the boosts in the spells.

I think there may be a small glitch.

Cure
- Heals the target over 3 turns.
-- Sometimes the target gets Health Points at time of spell use, sometimes not. The next 2 rounds heal properly.
- Removes 2 harmful effects in every turn from the target over 3 turns.
-- I use Cure, next round I get hit with a daze or flee in terror, the purge shows up on the screen, yet the effect is not purged. It either removes them or it doesn't. Please clarify.

That's not "full tuning" , even solo. You need to apply debuffs as well.

And for team fight, take a look at the 12k result on the pub thread from my ritual . Tuning? More like team synergy gives a whole new nitrous oxide engine block!

(That was done when I was still 25. I haven't tested 30's result. You know that's coming .)
