Just wondering, are those Bravery Tokens we get for bravely fighting and defeating the Rhino Kings ever going to count for something? Next patch, maybe? Maybe they could be used to buy gems?

I doubt it. Most likely, I speculate token will be used for "token gears", which won't be as powerful as gem ones. But, maybe a tiny bit better than epic.

Or, they can be creative and overhaul the gears to make them "tweakable" by tokens . They can apply the same diminishing return concept there too (more and more token needed for smaller and smaller gain via "forging" gears and tokens). Anyway, just, throwing ideas around .

if there's some sort of refining here, im sure pple needs to buy more gems.. i prefer exchanging for items that are rare and unobtainable through boss mobs or normal mobs.

I can imagine players defeating group(s) of BTRs with wave after wave of players dying in the process and flooding the global chat with "WE NEED MORE PEOPLE! COME GET YOUR TOKENS".

It would be good to know the excange fee... one item price is:10 tokens or 1000? ithink 100 would be acceptable.....

you get the tokens for defeating rhino kings (relatively easy) not for defeating groups of rhinos--well I don't know because I never defeated a whole group of rhinos. But anyway, people who have lots of tokens got them from kings, not the big BTR groups

I remember differently. Bloddthirsty Rhinos, Rhino king's and also Lamassu-s (rider of storm, Cheif of storm) also give away tokens
but i will test it...
anyway it tepends also how many of player defeated them...and i think in your performance
for two player versus 1 rino king you get 10 token
for a group of rhinos or lamassu you got 3-4 token (depend on your group size)

Athanatosz, my rogue has defeated Storm Riders and Bloodthirsty Rhinos, though never a whole group, and they didn't give tokens--unless it's changed. Just the Rhino Kings. If it has been changed, then I've got some motivation to BTR's and SR's again.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what we can get for those tokens.

Gems? Don't make me laugh: i don't see that coming!
Trade for gear? Upgrades? Well nice ideas, but is it likely?

i really think tokens are for some future quest, if those ever come to us. i mean, something in the L25-27 range. We won't see it unless they get around to raising cap, which is absurd until new areas and quests have been written, proofread, tested and debugged.

Honestly, i suspected all along that the rhino/lamassu quests were introduced as a preview of future levels and quests because the devs weren't yet ready to implement those yet, but wanted to provide something for the bored hardcores who were ready to quit.

Hi Well I'm not sure but i got a nice summ of tokens and i doubt i just got them from Rino King's. I'm in the hungarian server (Ithan) and one of the gamer there confirmed my statement.....anyway to night i will test it and i will post the hopefully winning screenshot...

maybe in an event/new patch they will be used to purchase epics that you can't get anywhere else.

Ok here is my idea to builds upon others that talk about purchasing something with the tokens. Have an NPC that exchanges random crystals for bravery tokens that is used to slot into non cosmetic gear. These crystals will grant bonus stats. Here is a example:

I have 1000 Bravery Tokens. NPC offers 3 types of exchanges

a) Give 300 tokens and get a minor boosting crystal ( +30 to a random class dependent stat)
b) Give 600 ....and get a medium boosting crystal ( +60 to a random class dependent stat)
c) Give 1000 and get a big boosting crystal ( +100....)

I choose c) and get a crystal for weapons (slot will be random) which gives +100 to Crit.

There should be another NPC available that charges a Dinar fee to remove slotted crystals from gear.

There will be some caveats in order to use crystals in order to prevent max level players from giving gear to lower level ones

a) only can be used on level 25 and above gear
b) gear slotted with crystals cannot be traded unless it is removed first
c) Crystals will be untradeable
d) You can only slot 1 crystal into a piece of gear at a time

Maybe the numbers need to be adjusted and balanced a bit by Devs who knows the inner working of stats. But, I like the idea .

I thnking about buying epcic items or buff drinks could be great the big question how much?
i thnk for 1 trade a 50-200 token would be acceptable....

Ouch. So in the end, the "tokens" are only good for a few more worthless dinar?
Tho maybe they'll make dinar useful sometime soon. i noticed a gem item in patch that can be used to buy dinar. Why would anybody spend real cash to get game currency if dinar is so easy to get? They must have something planned, either to make dinar less available, or to tempt us to spend a lot more of it.

For a while i was donating dinar to noobs so they could buy a companion. But companions at the levels noobs would buy are weaker than players, and they prevent players from entering a fight. After being ignored several times to "recall that pet so i cn get in there!" i won't be helping out with companions any more, nor encouraging peeps to use dinar-bought ones. The gem ones seem to be stronger tho. So no point spending gems to convert to dinar to buy pet: just buy the gem pet!

So anyway, new dinar stuff coming? Can we hope?

Haha, they have problems balancing the game as it is. "Ongoing", the word they used. It's too much for us to expect they can handle a more advanced "balancing problem" that the new idea throws into the mix .
