first try i failed, 2nd try i killed everyone apart from jibril and then i refreshed (accidentally of course ) but i got him on the 3rd try


i let down my guard here and just survived their onslaught





The normal strategy would've been to kill the overseers first but i needed to keep my defence high with borrowed power, so i decided to kill the slayers and then the sears
In total it took me 68 rounds
edit: that should read 78 rounds

And now, here's what I'm sure will be a welcomed news for teh h8rz: I'll be missing in action here until November . No, I'm not going on a tour of duty. No, I'm not going to prison (you wish ). I'm simply traveling places to tick off a few items from our bucket list. It's funny when we were young but broke, we traveled places where money matters. And now, older but well off, we'll travel to places where having money means diddly squat . Ugh, the technology withdrawal is gonna be a female dog. No gums, no patches, no 12 step programs, just cold turkey *shudders*.

So, just as in RL, I want to get my affairs in order here before going. I hope the Pub remains open for business until I come back. It's well stocked, and I've arranged prepaid deliveries to keep it well stocked. But, don't go raiding the whole supply in one night. I've hired a mean looking djinn to stand guard (read: only looks scary and will not do anything but stand .. err .. hover on one spot. Well, I probably shouldn't have said that. ). I've placed an honor system jar on the bar. Deposit the appropriate dinars there whenever you get or refill your drinks. No cheapskates, thank you !

But *** to get 1000+Xp to killing Whisky and the 8 burners....

Its been a little while since I fought the Captain group, but if I remember correctly,that should be over 10K XPs that you won. It may have cut off the last number, similar to what happens with the Blessing of Valor quest reward here

Rose I have never seen XP gained displayed with more than 4 digits: there are lots of posts pointing it out throughout the forums. The size of the text box is too small - is is a graphic interface design problem, and goodness knows where it is in the "TODO" list of the programmers!

I am aware there are many posts throughout forums pointing out seemingly disproportionate rewards, and that there are no "XP gained" boxes displaying 5 digits. This was just the first like post Ive seen since I can prove for 100% sure about at least once case of a truncated reward display that does award the full 5-digit XPs. Everyone soloing the big mobs is lv 30, so there is no way to prove for sure that they would be receiving over 10k XPs.

Dear Rose! Put on your dark glasses plus camouflage gear and do a commando raid on where the code is stored then create a test environment where XP is displayed then create a loop which goes through each value from 10000 to 99999 and you could be 100% sure!!!! I would be surprised if the Devs are not excruciatingly aware of this fact though, as they have eyes and intelligence and must surely have noticed this bug already.
